Inspect the Transmission Fluid Levels

One of the most important parts on your used car to maintain is the transmission. If you don't inspect the transmission fluid levels regularly, they could get too low. This may cause your transmission to break down, costing you a lot of money in terms of repairs.

Checking the fluid levels in the transmission isn't that difficult. First, turn your car off and open up the hood. Take out the dipstick from the transmission pipe, and wipe it with a dry rag. Put the dipstick back inside the pipe, and take it out again. See where the fluid level is. If it's below the "full" line, you will need to add more fluid. This can be done safely when you take your car into a transmission repair shop.

Remove Cracks on Windshield

A common problem to experience with a used car is when the windshield cracks. It's important to repair cracks as quickly as possible. Otherwise, they will get bigger and could make it hard to see while driving. Repairing cracks doesn't have to be difficult when you use a glass resin solution.

This solution is temperature-resistant. No matter how hot or cold it gets outside, the solution will not break down. First, clean out the crack, making sure all of the dirt inside has been removed. Check the PSI Range of each Tire

It's absolutely critical to keep your tires inflated correctly. If you don't, your used car may not handle correctly, increasing your chances of getting into a wreck. When checking the PSI (pounds per square inch) of each tire, you can use a digital tire pressure gauge. These gauges have a backlit display, which lets you see the numbers in low light conditions.

Put the gauge on the valve stem of each tire, seeing what the readings are. Take these numbers and compare them with the ideal pressure range in your vehicle's owner manual. If your tires need more air, you can put more air in with an air compressor. These can be found at a gas station or repair shop.
