About Me

Hi, my name is Marissa. When I was in high school, there were two things everyone knew about me. I knew nothing about cars, and I was obsessed with the show Gilmore Girls. So when the transmission on my old car died, and I didn't have money for a new one, these two facts inspired my boyfriend, Matt. He built me a car, just like Dean does for Rory in the show! It was the sweetest gesture, and something I never would have expected. In fact, I felt a little guilty accepting it, so I asked him to teach me how to take care of it so my precious gift would last as long as possible. This knowledge is where the material for this site comes from. Matt and I have long since broken up, but I kept the car and it still runs like a charm!
